Owners who are coming up on, or are at, a tenancy turnover can often benefit more than they think from a couple simple - and often overlooked - steps to help "put your best foot forward."

If you are a Marin landlord looking for new tenants to rent your property and want to make sure that you get well-qualified applicants who will take care of you property, there are a couple simple steps you can take to help ensure that you are attracting the right people. A simple, and cost-effective, way to give your property a face-lift is to give the interior a fresh coat of paint. You can take this a step further and power-wash the exterior. Also,make sure the previous tenants left you with a very clean interior, if not, spend the time and/or money to have it done professionally...this includes the carpets. Clean homes attract clean tenants.
